The back, has a completely separate compartment- accessible by two side zippers - for convenient, secure storage.  It's made specially to hold a holster (sold separately) for left or right handed carry. The special pocket is designed specifically to keep the firearm in a fixed location and completely separate from the rest of the bag and its contents. The compartment is lightly padded to eliminate imprinting and sits safely against the carrier. The 10 oz full grain leather strap is double-stitched and held by a solid brass D ring, making it ultra strong.
